We are an organization fueled by committed members, dedicated staff, and motivated volunteers. Located in the heart of Ligonier, Pennsylvania, our current facility was inspired by the vision of individuals driven to bring a YMCA to our community. Our Y was established in 1983 as a non-facility charter YMCA and in 1985 we moved into our new home, the old Ligonier Valley High School. Since then, our Y has grown to become a gathering place for youth, teens, and adults of all ages. Supported by an active community, the Ligonier Valley YMCA boasts a large indoor pool, expansive fitness center, state-of the art spinning classroom, large childcare program, and a wide variety of healthy living classes and mission based programs. The mission of the YMCA is to strengthen the foundation of community. We do this through programs and initiatives that promote youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
