7 Pillars of Youth Sports Pillar One - Everyone Plays: No tryouts are held and no one is cut. Every child who registers plays and practices an equal amount of time despite skill level. Pillar Two - Safety: We make sure that the game, the facilities, and the equipment are as safe as possible. Pillar Three - Fair Play: We play by the rules and respect all who are involved in the game, including players, parents and coaches. Pillar Four - Positive Competition:Teaching youth to compete positively is our goal as we focus on cooperation, fairness and respect. Pillar Five - Family Involvement:We encourage parents to be involved in their children’s games, practices and participation in youth sports. Parents need to encourage their children and emphasize sportsmanship. Pillar Six - Sport For All: We offer programs to all children regardless of their race, gender, religion, or physical ability. We ask our adult leaders appreciate the diversity of our participants. Pillar Seven - Sport For Fun: We emphasize the fun in playing sports, and do not over organize and dominate the activity.
