Ligonier Valley YMCA participates in the Activate America Program initiated by YMCA of the USA. Not "just another program", but a philosophy, Activate America continues to evolve in response to your needs. Activate America helps YMCAs understand and reach out to "health seekers" in the community -- the folks that want to live well and grow strong...they’re just not sure how to start. The Group Fitness section of our brochure offers choices for our Health Seekers -- perfect first steps for anyone. Although all of our instructors welcome beginners and seasoned fitness participants to each class, Health Seekers classes progress a little differently. Instructors take time to answer questions, review form, and assist health seekers in anyway possible.
