CYCLING

Cycling provides an aerobic exercise on a specially designed stationary bicycle. While the class pedals, motivating music plays as the instructor guides participants through a visualization of an outdoor cycling workout.   vary the pace throughout -- sometimes pedaling as fast as possible; other times cranking up the tension and pedaling slowly from a standing position. This helps riders to focus, working on the mind as well as the body.

Everybody's class! Pedal your way through booming beats and sing-along classics! Our new cycling provides a great rining atomosphere!

ZUMBA

Zumba®, a Latin-inspired dance-fitness program, fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create fun, effective fitness that blows you away! Zumba® Fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life! Fall schedule TBA.

CARDIO (Aerobic) WORKOUTS

CARDIO (Aerobic) WORKOUTS use the same large muscle group, rhythmically, for an extended  period while maintaining 60-80% of your maximum heart rate:  long in duration yet low in intensity. Aerobic exercise conditions the heart and lungs by increasing the oxygen available to the body and by enabling the heart to use oxygen more efficiently. Other benefits of aerobic exercise include:

Control of body fat
Increased resistance fatigue
Extra energy/increased stamina

PILATES

Pilates offers a method of body conditioning based on use of positioning and gravity to work the muscles. Pilates workouts focus first on developing strength through the core of the body--the back, abdomen, and hips, providing a solid foundation to challenge the rest of the body. The concentration focuses not only on strength, but also flexibility and coordination.

RESISTANCE TRAINING

Resistance Training describes any exercise that causes the muscles to contract against an external resistance. These movements increase muscle strength, tone, mass, and/or endurance. External resistance tools include dumbbells, rubber exercise tubing, one’s own body weight, or any other object that causes the muscles to contract.
