To provide health and wellness direction and vision to clients on an appointment level basis.  Provide supervision and maintenance of the Fitness Center and Free Weight room users.  This highly visible and very important position has a primary impact on the overall effectiveness with which the Ligonier Valley YMCA accomplishes its mission and objectives in service to the community.

Internship Standards:

The YMCA is looking for students that are currently enrolled in a 2 or 4 year collegiate program and who are studying recreation management, sports management, education, social work or similar concentration.

We are able to accept two (2) interns during the fall program session, two (2) interns during the spring program session and two (2) interns during the summer program session.  Interns must show a willingness to learn, good work ethic and organizational skills.
